In 1994, British mountain guide Martin Moran and Simon Jenkins took on the incredible feat of climbing all the Alpine 4000-metre peaks continuously, 75 peaks in just 52 days. Shunning any form of motorised transport, this epic journey across the roof of Europe was powered by bike and on foot.

From sea level, what is the total height, in metres, of all 75 of the 4000m peaks Martin climbed?
